On December 10th, it will be 4 years since my mother passed away. But two Christmases before her death I gave her a gift that she treasured the remainder of her life. It was a heritage scrapbook. And if you were anywhere near her house, you would have to stop and take notice of the gift I gave her.
Creating a heritage scrapbook is the project that is either never attempted or put off until a distant future date. With digital scrapbooking, that ends today. You can visit an online photo book publisher and drag and drop your way to a book. Visit Mixbook.com and use “A Book of Remembrance,” “Family Memories,” or “Family History” book styles. On Shutterfly, choose “Memorium” or “Family Memories”. Other photo book companies have styles to choose from. Or, create a from scratch using Photoshop Elements!
How you create the album doesn’t matter as much as getting the job done. It doesn’t matter if the holidays are coming up and you feel too busy to make the book. It doesn’t matter if it’s summer time and your children or grandchildren will be running you ragged. You’ve got to put this project on your Today List and make it now. You’re family needs to have their heritage preserved now.
