While Y’all are celebrating the holidays and ringing in the New Year, I’m going to moving a large portion of Family History Fanatics, “The Blog” from Blogger to WordPress.
For many of you, there should be no issues in keeping up with us after the transition is complete. For others, you might have to update your Feedly accounts or help us discover where we hit snags.
In the process, some of our backlinks from other sites and from Pinterest might hit speed bumps.
Here’s hoping those will be few and far between.
If things get a little messy between now and Jan 1, please be patient. If they’re still crazy after Jan. 1, then let me know on Social Media @FHFanatics for Twitter or Facebook – Family History Fanatics.
Thankfully the YouTube channel will not be moving and you can binge watch during the holidays!!!
In addition to the transfer, I’ll be sunsetting a number of posts that served me well when I began blogging nine years ago. To my earliest of early fans, thanks for being with me in those days. I really have come a long way. Thank you for your support.
Wish me luck and hopefully, things will be smooth sailing after the first of the year. Otherwise, instead of hitting the ground running, I’ll be drowning in my own tears and Andy will be a widower.
